Yup I got one already. (checkered advantage) But I think I am done with tickets now. I finished up the new exhaust tips two weekends ago and they have left me alone so far. I passed right by them at least 4-5 times this weekend.
I made some tips that have a flapper at the end that when closed forces the exhaust through a down tube that goes about 5 inches under water. Alot of exhaust still finds its way around the stainless flapper but it is pretty quiet.

Great, I havent gotten my boat wet this year because of a freshing up of the paint. Will be interesting to see if I get a ticket or now. If I do, I will be spending more time at Hardy this year then ever before.

Hoping to get her wet for the first time this summer. Been refinishing the outside with new paint and other trinkets. So I might be out there Saturday. Just waiting on the new shift assist box from Four Winns.

Always liked South Haven and they are always great to the Hot Rods. Lots of Municipal slips too, nice town etc.
I like Grand Haven, but doesn't really cater to transient boaters that well. Ya have a little bit of beach across the channel as far as calm waters go, or the sea-wall along the channel so get your fenders out. So plan on spending
all your time on the big lake if your up that way. LOL
Far as the cops go........I'd rather put exhaust or down spouts on any day than give up the hot rod for a CC !
All in all we are pretty blessed with this side of the lake and sometimes have to adapt with the noise B.S. enforced by the complainers without passions.
