Old thread but didnt want to start a new one on the same subject.

Any updates on Rack Storage on Lk St Clair? I'm considering the following:

- Belle Maer - FULL
- Beacon Cove
- Anchor Bay Marine
- Lands End
Others?

I'm pretty sure Bellemaer doesn't have rack storage.

Anchor bay marina hands down. Up to a 45'. They have 3 lifts going when it's busy and several dock girls that actually know what they're doing. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes even on a holiday weekend in or out and never had a problem. The girls will be waiting for you at the end of the docks every time, especially when the wind is blowing. They're a full service marina with great service.

Miller Marina, rack stored my 34 Powerquest the last 2 years since they reopened.

Great family owned operation, would never go anywhere else.

Lands End was nice. Cost me about $1000/season for my 25'. The highlow drivers would squeeze your boat to center it though, which resulted in the need for gelcoat repairs.

^ I dont like the sound of that. One other consideration for us is coming from Shelby, We'd prefer to be as close to Hall road as possible. I'm leaning toward Land's or Anchor.

Beacon ~ 1000
Land's End ~ 1500
Anchor Bay ~1800
Sun Up ~

Unfortunately thats a lot further than we want to be both land drive and water drive. We live in Shelby and spend most of our time at Strawberry, poor mans, the moot and futher north. Not at all near the Nautical mile.

Thats pretty much the same boating we do and its been great coming and going from anchor bay. I come from Hall rd and Hayes so its a pretty quick ride to anchor. My father keeps his at beacons cause his shop is down the street but says when he pulls in they just sit on the hilo and watch you dock. He takes rides alone throughout the day so that can be a pain with no help. I cant say much about lands end, never been there. I would go to each place and look at the facilities, meet the people. That should help in the choice. Like i said Anchor bay has been great. I mentioned something about the carpet on my rack once, the next weekend my boat was sitting on all new carpet. Pretty cool.
