OTTAWA COUNTY -- The Ottawa County sheriff's marine unit will have five boats cracking down on drunken boaters this weekend, with an enforcement effort on Lake Michigan, Spring Lake, the Grand River and local bayous. Police will set up a mobile Breath Alcohol Testing van, or BATmobile, outside the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters, where suspected drunken boaters will be processed before being taken to jail. "We're trying to get some awareness early in the year," sheriff's Sgt. Keith Koeman said. "Drinking, sun and motion have a dangerous effect." The patrols will run from 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday

On the fourth, cops will be targeting, large, load boats with names that suggest Gay undertones like ,"Ass Wreckin' Session". Please be advised, your day may be "terminated" if a citation is issued.

We were out in Lake MI and the beach in the channel all day Saturday, then to Jack's for the rest of the night. Sunday was a semi mellow day at the pank, then up to summer celebration for Hagar and fireworks.
