Just got home from Kelley's island. Went over to wire another house.
All closed up for the most part and quiet.

Funny being there and not a single boat in the water.

Yeah lol I was up at my family's lake house in Catawba this weekend and it's dead up here. I was surprised to see some fisherman fighting through it, I heard the walleye are pretty big right now.

But anyways i haven't heard of any poker runs lately all I've heard of is the stuff that Marine tech Concepts holds, and i was wondering if you guys know of anymore. It would be cool if you could let me know. I just bought my first boat (i was getting tired of using the old mans). but any ways Its so cool seeing all these guys on here, i thought performance boaters were dying out on lake erie. good to see that theres still plenty of you. Looking forward to getting more involved with this. Thanks - Hunter
Hey Hunter,
Welcome to the board! As Mach said you will find the guys that hang at the Casino to be a great close knit group! Any given weekend is a blast up there. I am curious to hear what performance boats you family had up there. There may be a good chance I remember the boat...

Have you guys settled on a date? The 19th might be the best date for me before Christmas. Not sure though, may have another boating party to go to. How about between Christmas and the new year?

Nothing set up yet but we should try to get it done soon for use with kids to line up a sitter.

Thanks! My dad had numerous boats in the past but the most recent was a 33 Baja outlaw, it's got twin 500's with extension boxes and shorty outdrives and was ordered as a f1 race boat even though it was never raced. The fastest we've got the bot up to was 90. when we got it we had all the upholstery redone and we did a lot of work to the hull too. Sadly it was in twice the whole summer due to mechanical issues and our family being on a budget bc we are building a new lake house. I can post some pictures later on. Hopefully it will be in the water more next year and I'll be over at one of the island every weekend now that I have a boat of my own. I look forward to getting to know all of you guys!

I'm down with b/t Christmas and NY, my sister is coming in 17-22nd so that kinda takes up that time, plus might be better to go after everyone has taken care of Christmas obligations.
