Very cool.
I see you're in Kingsville. Haven't been there in yrs but plan to fix that this season.
Love Leamington and will do a weekend there and explore out your way.

PS, I bet you were the only one on Pelee last weekend We were scheduled to go in last weekend but saw weather forecast and scratched.
I think I saw from the NW??? If so should have been decent for you. As decent as 40* boating on Erie can be

Hey Guys ...Looking for a little info . the wife and I are thinking about leaving out of Leamington around July 1 and heading to Kelly Island for the 4th. We have been to PIB for the 4th a few years ago but thought may be nice to stay on Kelly's. What's the best marina to stay at? do they have a pool? is there water taxi to PIB? how soon should I reserve ? ......any information is appreciated.. Mike.

Three choices if you count the Casino which has no facilities other then restroom in bar.

Next to it (west) is Portside. Newest/nicest w/a killer on water bar/restaurant, golf cart/bike rental and right in the middle of town.
Ferry to PIB is between the two.
I don't like Portside due to it's floating docks that seem to always be moving due to poor shelter for harbor opening.

My favorite is Seaway. It's the oldest and farthest from town (1 mile?) but nicest park like setting. We have dogs and theres tons of area for them to run.
Lots of pavilions for cooking/picnicking and bike/walking/golf cart trail around its large harbor. Full facilities including golf cart/bike rental, gas, laundry, store for provisions and small sandwich/breakfast shop.
Will be your calmest and quietist of the lot.

All are south side of island.

Pool??? What do you think, you're in Canada?

PS, ever watched the fire works from the west dock at Pelee Island? Been yrs but I have several times.
If the weathers nice you can see 4 or 5 displays from two counties and multiple islands simultaneously while floating in your boat. Very cool.

Hope this helps.

The go fast boys generally go to the casino there is power to plug in but that's about it. If u want to be in the mix of things that's where u want to be if u want quiet sea way is your place. Good time no matter where you say.

Absolutely correct. Can't believe I didn't make that point. Duh.
On a nice weekend it will be gunnel to gunnel w/killer go fast rides and right at the foot of a killer open air bar.

We always say at the casino good dock hands that puts are mind at ease When we leave our boat for long times also we raft on the front wall and everyone is good about no shoes on the boats. Most people at the casino are regulars and are all good people.
