I have ridden bikes since I was a kid, Raced quads, owned dual sports, dirt bikes, a harley etc... I havent ridden a street bike in years and wont either. Its not that I dont enjoy it or dont want to, it's that my life if more important to me than some soccer mom yelling at her kids in the back seat. I simply do NOT trust other people on the road.

Ha, blown trans (just got back), drive spacers, trim pump, some gauge fixes, touch ups, clean clean clean. Nothing too major, just regular boat stuff for the offseason that I started too late. Got like 4 weekends left to finish her, I should be in by the time it warms up here. I doubt I will do Cig event this year, although this will probably be the year to go!

No big deal, happens all the time. It's actually a really clean 2014 w/ about 6K miles on it. Steep discount as these are kinda pricey new when compared to the Jap bikes ($14K+) , traded in a nice KTM and got raked over the coals on it, but it cut down the taxes so in the end an OK deal.

Dang, it looks like new. From what I've read and seen of the videos I'm sure it'll meet your expectations.

Guy has nice stuff, in columbus ohio if anyone is looking. He races, was a helo-mechanic, just got a good feeling buying from him. He doesn't sell junk. Rides Ducatis, etc.

Only iffy things I heard about these bikes is that they give up a little power to competitors (130hp, plenty for me), and weigh on the heavy side (~470lbs). I wasn't in the market for a superbike/GP bike, so those things didn't matter to me. It's a nice looking bike, priced right and from what I've read, does everything well.

Any locals planning to do the LEOPA thunderfest? I've been trying to plan a poker run trip this year, so far coming up swinging, so I might just do this one.

We are signed up for Thunderfest, run was great last year. This year the 1st leg is shortened and a different 1st stop. Last year I dont think all the fisherman were too happy wiith 70+ performance boats threading thru on the west end.

OK, I am considering it.

Yeah, they're never too happy when 1 of us go by, and that can be dicey with all the cross traffic. I couldn't imagine a Poker Run ripping thru there.
