My home town of Columbus is supposed to have a high of 1 today
The gf and I want to stay up there for a winter, on PIB that is, just to see what it's like. Heard you got to really stock up when the ice comes. I know she would, she's not a big fan of small planes.

Ok I'll give you that. I got a buddy who has lived in Florida for the last 14 years, but 23 years in Ohio before that, he keeps referring to himself as a Florida native and I have to keep reminding him that he's still considered part of Ohio until the time he's in Florida passes his 23 years of Ohio.

We've been down here 8 yrs and I've gotten quite the education on a true Floridian. I always assumed that "cracker" meant born and raised in Fla.
Turns out that a true cracker needs to have multiple generations of living in Fla.in their family tree. They are also very proud of it.
Numerous bumper stickers stating such.

BTW, on your way to Sebring Raceway you pass through "Cracker" Fla.
And don't forget Cracker Day.
True story

Well my boat is floating. I have 6" of water in my barn. Sump pump is shooting a geyser from the check valve, because the pipe is frozen underground.

Hows everyone elses blues?

I get home after work this morning, and head for the basement to find it full of 5"s of water from wall to wall. The sump pump decided to quit working the same night we get a ton of rain that also melts all of our 8" of snow on the ground. My day has sucked, come to think of it this whole last week has stunk. This winter is really starting to blow. I sure hope all that ice is gone so we can make to Kelleys for the Early Bird.
