I get home after work this morning, and head for the basement to find it full of 5"s of water from wall to wall. The sump pump decided to quit working the same night we get a ton of rain that also melts all of our 8" of snow on the ground. My day has sucked, come to think of it this whole last week has stunk. This winter is really starting to blow. I sure hope all that ice is gone so we can make to Kelleys for the Early Bird.
That sucks!!!! hope no boat parts were down there

Got the pipe thawed today. Dug it out of the snow, the warm weather the last couple days was just enough to free it up. Put another pump in to get rid of the rest of the water.

Looking to hit Erie up a few times this summer. Anyone want to give me the low down on what's hot and what's not. Also the best place to put in. I'll be coming up from north of Pittsburgh. And BTW nice photos.

all the islands r a must see. it all depends on what u like middle bass only has one bar that is nice but quiet. nice marina owned by the state park. pib is fun but not for us its more on the collage wild side but has a lot of bars and I know a lot of people that love it there, we go about once or twice a year. then there is kelleys where we love we dock at the casino and say a lot. bigger offshore crowed and more layed back but all good people and most r regulars. if u come r way let us know there r a bunch of us that will show u around. let us know the dates u r thinking and we will let u know whats up around that time. there is also places to hang out and swim we like the north side of kelleys the water is clean and clear and there is the sand bar in the Sandusky bay the water is murky but always a big turn out of boats.

You should come in August an do the Buffalo NY Poker Run. This way you get to run the Niagara River and Lake Erie.

Thanks for the replies. I'll hit you guys up on here once spring/summer hits. That'd be awesome for someone to show me around. I hate not knowing where I'm at on the water.
