100%, If we didn't have 2 bilge pumps going things would have turned out bad for us last year. After this incident, I will never own a boat with just 1 pump in the bilge, the water was coming in so fast.

Turns out wasnt



faulty u joint, after 33 years of device the gear decided to spit a tooth! And took another with it, can't complain for 33 years and about 1000 hours of service, can't get 100 from a bravo lol

Just depends on your luck. I had 400 hours on an original bravo 1 on my Formula 382 before it self destructed. That was in front of warmed over old school 525sc motors.
