Been going to PIB for 25+ years 10+ times per year and never had an issue. Only issue I have ever had while boating was at Kelley's, one of Dales buddies with a Nortech took my docking spot at the casino. Guy was a real peach, I had my wife and kids with me and I told him that was not cool, the dock girls yelled at him but he bullied his way in and tied his boat up anyways. I spoke with him in the bar and he asked me if I wanted to make anything of it.....I told him to wait for me while I took my wife and kids back to the boat and I would be back. I came back to the bar and Dales buddy had left.....But yes, July 23rd would be a good day to stay away from PIB, it is little Detroit day there.

I also prefer PIB as there are many places and things to do besides sitting at the casino on Kellys all day. (which can be fun, not knocking it).
Anyways, looks like Aug 13th weekend is the date. We should plan to all run around together, plan a meet up North side of Kellys for some swimming, Cedar Point beach, run to Huron, Kellys, Sandusky Bay, Johnsons Island, lunch stops, crash DALE'S HOUSE, park the boats at PIB for the night, etc. I'll put together a rough schedule as I am sure we will be running around the lake / islands a bit. Hopefully Dale's boat will be functioning.
Who's in from the locals? Tim, Dale, Jeremy (jriggs), Ron, Doug, Ken, Denny, etc?

New to me Tim. I would stay away from two bars I can think of and I would assume this crap happens around 2am, which is typical of any high density area at that time with alcohol involved. NO GO on Level Two danceclub and upstairs @ Mr. Eds late night.
