So I pulled my props this year for the first time my self now that I am keeping it at my house. On the prop for my old boat the splines where in the hub. But the new ones slip in to the prop and come out. So..... why is this...

Plastic insert style hub. Flo torque 2. I have them on my outboards, keep a spare with you. I've had to beat the hub out on bdock and put a new one in cause it spun. When they spin the 4 tabs usually jam inside. They are suppose to give first instead of breaking lowers, in my case i still broke lowers haha. I am sure someone more educated on the topic can explain it better.

Maybe an aftermarket solid conversion? Eliminate the plastic and the spin? A pic would help. :thumbs up:

Took my props off this year since I'm storing it some where else. Mine have 4 shim like pieces that lay between the prop and the hub that slides into the prop. Kind of weird looking.

Well from the weather forecast for the next week, I broke down and winterized it. Surprisingly simple.
