Are they broken or just need install? Install is better than rebuild and reinstall.

I wish I had that problem. ..having to install them drives on my boat.. that would be nice lol

you will be better with new setup.... I dont think Konrads that much stronger then TRS from what I read about them...

I need to have my lower unit checked this winter. Got a little slop in the prop shaft. I think I got an exchange lower. Doesn't match the upper. Upper is nice paint, lower is welded skeg and black over chipped yellow? Who knows what's under that.

Yeah well, can't believe everything you read / hear. I've heard the exact opposite. I'm not really one to comment on that until I've done it myself. You know someone first hand that has had a bad experience? Things happen, Konrad builds a nice product. I wouldn't be scared to run the snot out of them, I was just in a position to get something a little beefier and crank up the power "a little". Ultimate would be Arnesons or 6s, but my powerball ticket didn't go through when I scanned it at the bar last week.....
