Cool Darn cold this morning

It was cold up here this morning. A half hour south of here in Marshall Michigan it was -20 degrees, not counting wind chill.

Umm.......Jeremy how times have you been broke down in the parking lot at the boat ramp with the d max? Haha sorry just had to mess with you. See you in a week. I will be able to pull your sleds home for you if the dmax takes a break on you................

I am knocking on wood hoping nothing goes wrong with my old truck.

Dale

My old D-max wouldn't start two times in the entire 10 years that I owned it. It just so happens both times were at a boat ramp and you were there for 1 of them. I would say my experience has to be better than 95% of all truck owners out there. First time( primer on fuel filter head went bad and was sucking air. I bought a rebuild kit for $20.00 and hour later I was rolling down the highway. Second time (you were there) it wouldn't start due to crappy Chinese made parts in said rebuild kit. So, for $129.00 I bought a brand new primer / fuel filter head from GM, and the problem was fixed.

10 years of ownership, 150,000 miles, I set of brake pads on the front, and a fuel filter / primer assy. IMHO, that is pretty good for any truck.

Problem with 7.3's is you can go buy a new F150 with a v-6 that has a higher tow rating and makes more power. And they wont start if it is cold out.

My mechanical pump 12 valves always start. Plugged in or not. I also run schaeffers 5-40 synthetic in them though.
