The sonic has done 81.3 gps. I think more speed is possible but its a handful at 80.

Ressurrected, where are you located?

Hi Twin ob sonic (instigator i belueve) your quote about "not letting common sense influence boat buying decisions " are words I live by😁. My wife not so much! You might need to check out Saginaw bay this summer. Let me know. Todd

I'm on Lake Huron a lot but not in winter! I like to photograph the lights like this shot of Port Austin Reef Light.

Yes, Instigator.

Todd, I bought my first 24’ Sonic O/B cuz the guy at the dealership said it was a handful to drive at speed 😎

Love to come up to your area this season, and planning on it.

BTW, 81.3 is the fastest I have heard for a twin O/B 24’ Sonic.

Set up right, they do fly.

Sweet sonic pics. On the "pad" pic is awsome.
The Bay City River Roar is July 13-14 which is always a good event. Watch from land, not a boat. Usually have a capt. Insano sighting there.
Link to a vid of sonic underway.

Way cool Todd.

River Roar sounds like a hoot.

Todd I have seen your boat at the Saginaw Bay Fun Run! Awesome setup and I bet is a fun ride!
I boat on Saginaw Bay most weekends in my 380 Powerquest and frequent Boaters Beach in Bay City. If you see me out, stop and say hi!
I also work in the oilfield near Lake Isabella.

We boat on the saginaw river a lot but most of the time don't go out to the bay because of how long the no wake is in bay city.

Having lived in the South my entire life you'll have to excuse my ignorance...................how the hell does that much ice get stacked up like that? That's some serious weight. Chain of events please...........
