I spent decades trying to put together a cruiser trip up north but it never worked out.
Now that we have a fast cuddy that is trailerable, we’re looking at possibly towing to Port Huron, splash the boat, and spend a wk burning gas.
What took us all day at 13 MPH........,should be a fun, couple hr trip in good conditions.
Or all day in **** conditions 😂

I knew you were not joking! I have followed many of your posts
That's a very cool piece of history!
Tobermory never gets old (unless you live there in February I'm sure)
The past few years it seems that Toronto has just discovered it, so it is crazy crowded in the summer.

Sounds like a good plan for a trip!
Two days up to Tobermory then tour around the top of Georgian Bay and the North Channel and back
June and July usually get calm weather, nice gentle rollers (of course weather patterns are all messed up these days) August and on can get pretty rough

The river is open so I put the tin boat in, was attempting to salvage a floating dock that went by a week ago, but it was frozen in the ice and had been beaten up pretty bad by the ice. I decided it's not worth the effort.
My brother saw me go out so he launched his drone and got a couple shots
