I looked at a few 50 Hustler's, I think they make a great boat. Almost bought a new 2004, with Bravo's and trip 500's, it's for sale again at Lake Cumberland. What you need to look at when comparing boats of this size 41' on up, is weight. There is still a difference even if you have a triple bravo set up vs a twin #6 set up, the trannys in the #3, 5 or 6 drive will offset the power to weight relationship when getting on plane or flying off waves. To me its a better set up, it helps to get rid of that worry sindrom of brakedowns, its more reliable, and thats the reason we like to go boating.

575's with xrs is a reliable set up. vs big power ....because you wont be rebuilding motors every season and gettin fuel every 2 senconds..the only reson why mercury stopped makign them is becuase it wasnt enough of a power jump between that and the 525 so they went to the 600.
