Have to admit I don't know much about the history of Hustler boats - can anyone provide some insight? I'm (very tentatively) looking at a 1990 32' w/ twin Mercs.

The only Hustler I've been on is Cardshark's 388, and it was very impressive piece of work; wondering if the same is true of the older boats? I seem to recall that there have been some ownership changes in Hustler's past (or not - can't remember!)?

Hustler was started by Paul Fiore who now works with his son at Outerlimits. It was sold once to Global Marine.

The 32 was a fine machine. First pleasure boat to break 100 at Powerboat trials I believe.

Several 32s were fine winning race boats.

I don't know to much about them either. I do know that the 34 Cheata is a stretched 32 with an improved bottom. The person I would talk to would be Chip Fendt at the factory or Mike at Geographics. Mike is the one that painted the Cardshark and he knows alot about Hustler boats and their rigging. If you need any help in getting in touch with either person let me know.
