Default 344 Cheetah Set Up With 525s?

Hopefully someone has 525s and has figured out the right prop and set up, as I can turn a 32 to the limiter and the boat handles perfect, but put 34 pitch Bravos on it and its a handful at 82 MPH and there is no driving through it.

I had the 34s worked and same exact thing. Put the 32 bravos back on and I can run 91 with no hands on the wheel, smooth as silk!!

I have 525's and Imco lowers that are standard length.

Anyone have the formula??

Chip?? Paul?? Joe??? Others??

Thanks,

Kirk

No. Too much load on teh drives and i think a four blade is faster. Great cruise with a 5 blade though.

Hoping someone chimes in that has this set up sorted out.

The red Miami Boat Show Cheetah runs 1.36 and labbed 30" Bravo One's, standard length sportmaster lowers and ITS boxes. Reported speed is 93mph. I've seen the boat run right at 90mph with people and fuel in 2-3' seas. It seemed to handle the speed and water just fine.

I can run 91 with my 32s no problem. Boat is like on rails. Hit rev limiter though and needs more prop. 34 Bravos dont work. Chine walk is brutal at 82 and there is no driving through it.

oat is capable of 94 or 95 just need right props.

Cool

Don't change props, raise the Rev limiter on the triple nickel pcm's. I was banging of mine and had Tyler C. flash the pcm's to 6,000.. Sweet spot on the 525's is around 5800 RPM's
