Also if you do a search on "Diesel Demon" you will see a 38 Slingshot that Joe, the owner of Hustler, ran.
I have 2 new xr ratio 1:50 to run the diesels ,they not gonna like it I think but with a little care and easy on the throttle the will hold up I think/hope.

I love a arneson set up but it's a litlle above my budget for now but I keep looking for a nice used set ,wich is the best set up I think fast and bullet proof ,the negative part is if the family is on the boat i have to be very carefull whit the props and swimming.

Rik will make you some prop guards..Ive seen them before on a 388 hustler and asd-7 set up..secondly the bravo drives will eventually fail..so from a budget standpoint like you mentioned..if its slightly more I would invest the coin to make it more reliable and turn key to enjoy the complete season of boating..Good Luck.

you have a good point there but it's quite a bit more and the boat is allready bravo configurated so it's also alot work to convert to straight asd 8 's and the bravo replacement is much more $$$ .

I have the engines and drives in allready one enginem runs other gives a fault code wich I work on hope to do some sea trail this year to see how it perform whit this engines and maybe save some money to do a conversion next winter if I need more hp I sertainly need arnesons ,

Rik is a great guy have asked him several times advise and he always help you even when you bought nothing ,so when the money is available I spend it there!
