i am seriously thinking about puttin on CMI exhaust on my engine which is a 6.2L with a whipple, it is being rebuilt right now, b4 the rip down it put out 506 hp, and 540 lbs of torque on a dyno...how much lighter are the CMI's than stock, and what other advantages do the CMI's have over stock...i just need some final convincing info to justify the $3500...any info would be great...

21 Hustler: Sorry it took so long to get back about the CMI's, ahd to wait for him to call back. He said they were lighter but didn't know by how much and also noticed a little gain in the trq of the boat from before and after instalation. We are about to order a set for a Bcustomers boat now and will weight them for ya to get a difference in weight from stock to CMI's. Also can get a set for you, let me know which style you are interested in and I will see what price I can swing for ya.

professional marine in NJ which are being soooo awesome said that can get me a set for a SB for 3000. whic is pretty good. Those guys there know so much and are the best marine to deal with. i highly recomend them if u need anything for your boat b/c they really go out of their way and bend over backwards for their cumstomer. A++ business. on a side note hard on u are amazing....tell me everything u know, and thanks for the help
