The reason some of us are in the position we are in financially is that we make good investments and don’t spend frivolously. I am one of those fortunate people. 3% in annual premiums is freaking robbery for a boat. At some point it is better to self insure the boat and only carry liability for 800 a year. Different strokes for different folks.

I ended up going through DeWitt ins. agency. Charter Lakes Marine Ins. 475k Value...Liab 1 millionk, medical 5k, uninsured 300k, trailer 17k, towing 500. for a yearly no layup prem anywhere from Texas to Keys in gulf waters excluding hurricanes of 7155.00 Jst signed up with them.
