What have you guys done when stepping up the HP, especially adding a blower motor. The enigne increased the value and I expect the insurance co will want to know the new speed right?

Yeah you will defeintally want to disclose what HP and speed numbers you are expecting when you are upgrading the motor. You wouldn't want a denied claim (if that ever happens) because you failed to report the correct HP/speed your boat was capable of (if the insurance co. found out).

The insurance company must be notified about any changes on what they are insuring and they have to agree to the change,or any claims could and probably would be denied. I have the ability with my company to approve and document any changes.
