True, someone could lie on the resume. (I am NOT implying that you would - this is info for the minds that begin "turning") If a claim happens an investigation always takes place. If it is found that the applicant lied about his/her experience coverage can (and most likely will) be denied.

Again, with your exp., you will be fine.

I would think Skater/Nortech/MTI etc. would get together and offer up some sort of coverage of their own.

That would be a HUGE task. Not impossible, but not as easy as it may seem.

AGAIN, YOU CAN GET INSURANCE ON THE TX GULF COAST.
YOU WILL PAY OUT THE WA-ZU IF YOU ARE OVER 1000HP
AND 90+ MPH. HOWEVER, WINDSTORM IS NOT COVERD.
CORRECTION, MARINE UNDERWRTIRES WILL WRITE IT
FOR ABOUT 13k A YEAR ON A BOAT WORTH 250k PROVIDING PRECAUTIONS ARE TAKEN PRIOR TO A WINDSTROM EVENT. FOR EXAMPLE: IF A TD-STORM OR H-CAIN IS COMING IN YOU
MUST MOVE YOUR BOAT TO SAFE GROUND (LIKE ARIZONA)AND YOUR DEDUCTABLE INCREASES TO 55k. HELL OF A DEAL
