just had a 15k claim.do you think my insurance company will drop me or just raise my rate,progressive

As long as all of the info they had on your boat before the claim was accurate, they will probably just raise your rate.

I had a guy who actually got a discount at renewal even though he had a claim. Progressive had a rate decrease & his surcharge was less = lower renewal rate.

I agree. Also depends on if you have made any other claims..
