Agreed value is the way to go. If it's a total loss as in a fire , there is no question of value. If they agreed it is worth 50 g for example that is it , not nada book value. I have agreed value on my boat , sent them reciepts for the new engines and drives/transoms , they sent me a bill for $80 and upped the agreed value to 55,000 . Not bad for a 1994 29 scarab! Don't really want to see what they would pay either!!!

Also, I've never heard of the HP limit from Progressive. My agent just said there was a speed limit to the policy he writes. Right now, I'm probably going to be lucky to even get paid.
