Wipple Charged and need insurance
Is it even possible to get boat insurance on a 28 cat with a whipple...running about 750hp and about 85+ mph....Would i be better off removing the whipple before I try and get insurance...and put it back on later? Any info would be great...thanks

Depending on your age and Cat ownership experiece, there should not be a problem getting the boat insured with the whipple chargers. Please give me a call and I will be happy to get you a quote and answer any additional questions.

A whipple charger shouldn't pose a problem for any broker on here, so long as you meet the other underwriting guidelines. That combination of speed/HP and boat has never been a problem. The only problem with a CAT is that you have to have ownership experience or meet the age requirement of minimum of 35 and under 85mph if you are a first time CAT owner.

They would just deney any claim because you would be fraudulent on your coverage requirements thus there exposure (risk) would be different thus canceling any coverage.Unless you could take them back off after it was stollen or after a accident.
