Agreed...when I got insurance on mine I insured it for an agreed value which they asked what I wanted that to be...they probably want a survey

Stated value policy is going to be your best route to insure it, just make sure your policy reflects it clearly! I can't tell you how many times I've seen classic cars and boats under a basic/simple policy and then comes along a total loss and the insured doesn't understand the difference or is asking why this wasn't an option at policy initiation. I call to see what value they had my boat insured for and it was what nada shows for value and I have 10 time that in boat
