You know I may not be 100 % happy with the top speed of this hull, but damn everyone that rides in this thing just cannot believe how well this thing rides in the rough water!

Speed is relative. Most boats never reach a top speed over 100. A 35 ft. boat over 100 mph is very rare. The Jags do ride really nice in the rough. Enjoy the boat. Doug

A friend has a 36 Skater, which is considerably faster than my Jag.
He was amazed at the ride of the Jag. His Skater tends to bounce around in rough water and feels "flighty" because of it's larger tunnel and lighter weight, whereas the Jag feels stable.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not knocking the Skater.

I hear ya on that. I was in Havasu this weekend and was very rough. My buddy has a 25' V and was catching major air. Well needless to say me and a DCB we at it and doing 100+ over the stuff that was killing my buddy in his 25 footer. Yes the Jag feels very stable at those speeds in the water.
