The only down side of having the green ones is waiting for the others to catch up.

Hey Johnny,
In the minute I talked to you at the long beach races. You said the kryptonite was going pleasure boat. Does that mean your going unlimited power, and get that thing really moving. Or putting a cabin interior, and creature comforts. Post up some interior pics, is yours a race version dash?

Hey Ed,
If I could, Id love to build 850 or so and get it over 100...with a -1 drive I think the X-Dimension would be perfect for big number running, but that isnt in the cards right now.
Im running around 650, stock XR drive. Best Ive seen is 88 so far, but to be honest I usually leave the small wheel on it and never really string it out. But it pulls like a mofo with 680ft. lbs and a small prop
Yup, full race dash, no cabin, there is a back seat going in under the race hatch.

Hello everybody, I have a 290 CC and was curious if anyone knows exactly where the fuel tank is? I want to mount stainless cooler tie downs on both sides of the deck hatch (about a foot in front of the front seat, so passengers can pin there feet against it) and really don't want to put a drill bit through the tank. Thanks

you've stumped the three people that still check this section.. I know my tank us under the seats and you can see it by the fill pipe inside the cabin. I would let the passengers slide around before sending a screw through my tank, give'em a grab handle and tell them to be quiet. lol

Tank is under the center of the floor. In the regular model it goes from the cabin to the rear bulkhead behind the rear seat. I imagine yours is similar. It spans from stringer to stringer.

I realize this is an old post but it might still help.

Btw, I still have mine, off long island, in Delaware.

LOL, Mine doesn't have a metal tank or bladder. My tank is part of the hull. Its pretty trick and built that way for race weight. I haven't been on this thread in ages.
