Will do thanks for the advice. Looking at the ECM website, there's acutally a picture of the shop with your boat in it.

I noticed that too, maybe I should charge them a slight fee. They also used my instrument panel on the home page. It kind of scrolls by on the top along with some other items as well as a shot of my wind screens in the project section.

Default Laveycraft 28 EVO

Hi!

Thanks for all the help.

I have checked various tests and the 600 Sci consumption varies between 16 - 22 gph at 3.500 rpms which is a great deal ïf you pay 11 usd per gallon. Any experiences out there?

I have put my boat up for sale, and as soon its sold, its off to Calf!

the local shops told me I was offbase ordering an ilmore 710 and pushed the merc 600 because of-

mileage- it blown prop it up and "lug" it if you want mileage it'll pull.
NMEA2000- this is hip technology

altitude indexed power output- The merc 600 can generate far more than 600hp which is why its power output is constant even at altitude. (a consideration of mine but not most)

You cant go wrong with it.

I looked at picts of your boat, and its really cool, but the 29 evo is epic. There is a 29 Evo in the showroom right now thats got more trick stuff in it that you can imagine (rear camera-pop up trim indicators passenger speedo an imco SCX) and an Ilmor 710 in it.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Ill take some picts next time in there trying for sat morning but Ill probably get there next week.

That is one sweet ride.

I'm guessing the 4 seater/no cabin setup really limits it's pleasure or poker run desirability though. I know the big cats get setup that way, but those guys usually can have a cruiser too.

Smile Laveycraft 28 EVO

Hi!

Thanks! Just wonderful.

I have discussed with Jeff if its possible to add a simple sleeping department (lightweight) for unexpected overnight use (rain / sudden parties / etc).

I have also discussed using foottrottle and trim on the wheel. I am used to this from my current boat.

Would it be possible to send the pictures below to me? My email is [email protected].

I presume you have tested varius props on the boat. Which is the best for top speed and which is best for cruise? Or best - both?

Cheeers and thanks!

Hi!

Just a quick question;

How will you compare Merc 515 EFI to Merc 600 Sci? Both performancewise and longevity The change rates are going in my disadvantage the Norwegian Kronor loosing strenght, so Merc 525 may may be an option.

I have been told the boat should run approx. 85 mph with the 525 and 92 mph with the 600 Sci.. 600 Sci is my favorite. Unfortunately Ilmor is not yet CE approved, so if I am to use such an engine, it implies lots of paperwork (and extra money).
