King Sting dominated that run. The boat will run an honest 170 with the boost turned up and the tips off. The motors were only making around 800 for that run and the tips were off. Is your buddy Bruce Miller?

That other Spectre with whippled 500's was in front of the KING when those two broke away from the pack on Sacandaga. I saw it on the video(obviously I was way back in teh pack when this was occuring). I guarantee KING wasn't close to WOT.

I do give that Spectre credit...it is a great running boat. As I said, I saw it ahead of the KING. Who knows how much power the KING was using that day. Maybe with all this internet banter we will see what it can really do this summer

Im not suprised the Spectre was first to the card stops. Jim D. (King Sting) had never been on Sacandaga in his life. The water was low and he needed to follow someone to the stops. When he pushed the sticks down he went by every boat there. No questions asked. He told me he had to "work" to pass the James Gang boat. This year he wants the motors running to there full power potential.

Oh boy, this is getting good. I'm contacting the trophy place right now to order the "King of Sacandaga" plaque. Maybe it will be enough of an incentive for everyone to throw the throttles down.
