Yeah it's just a vent.....
I know what you mean....the bubble is odd looking and the boat looks great without but most of them had the bubble and I REALLY like the stock look.
I would guess there wasn't one original 27 Sport that I wouldn't like......same with the Donzi 18 2+3.......they were all cool.
