Hey No Cig,was thinking about you guys last week when my soninlaw Dave an I took his P5-51 Phantom an I took Vixen for a run up the coast about 50 miles for lunch with our wives. Was about 75 degrees with a 2ft chop, run aound 55 most of the time, but had to tell the woman to bea with it once in the while so we could air them out a little bit.I burned about 50 gal. of fuil running my 540 with the 1050 carb and 714 714 cam wich was about 2mpg,Dave did a lot better on fuil but he was running a 509 flat tappet and a 750 carb.Just got this new computer and when i figure it all out i will post some pictures. This is my first crack at one of these things so bare with me.

still set up like a race boat with all the controles to the left of the driver in a center consule for the throttle man and what a pain that was.First thing i did when we got back was tear every thing out and lay out a new system with everything on the right, much better now.If i keep at it i might make a pleasure boat out of her yet.About one more month and it should be warm enought to put that bad boy in for its first run, right?? Have a good one MEL
