nocig - I raised my 2 youngins in a 16 foot Donzi staring in 1974. Son was 4 when I got it. Daughter was born 5 years later and started boating every week by the time she was 4 weeks old. Your having a 27 is so far beyond what I had that I wouldn't be waiting. Congradulations and enjoy. BTW - my daughter ended up being my best student.

CONGRATULATIONS NoCig! My family wishes you all the happiness in the world!
My son will be 19 months on the 10th of June, I WOULD NOT TRADE IT FOR THE WORLD!!!!!
He had his first ride at 7 months in our 22 classic with a 540 and cruised every weekend in the summer on our 36 Grand Banks, HE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
My first ride was a 18 foot Nordic flattie with a LS6... My father's first ride was a speed garvey with a 500ci Hemi.
I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?!

Oh... and noone worry, we are starting him out REAL early.
He will own (end of this summer) his own miniature version of a Jersey Speed Skiff from some old plans I had that will be powered by a motorguide trolling motor. BBWWAAHHAAAAAHHAAAAA! WAIT til the wife finds out about THAT one!
