Pics of the new floor............
I have not posted any progress pics in a while, the boat is almost all dialed in and ready to go to st clair for race weekend.....Really running strong all over my rev limiter at 6000 rpm......Any way since i got rid of all the old school railings and anchor hatches i decided to due the floor in the boat old school......I have about 60 hours in so far and it is really lookin good.......I dont know if i want to put my feet on it when its done....

Its hard to tell but there is a metal flake in the gold of the emblem it really jumps out at ya, i am going to use polised brass screws, to hold it down and i also have quater round trim stained the same way, for around the edges.......

how due ya think i stained it..........Speed numbers are strong.......above 80, but beating all over the rev limiter......Putting a 6200 or 6400 chip in this weekend but i am sure i am going to have to buy a bigger wheel....

Knew i seen that stain before,but its been 49 years since i changed one of them things,and it took fatherinlaw and i together to get the job done.Always felt a big single in the 27 was the answer, for speed, handling,and ease to work on. Great Job.
