By the time you get done with it with...new bravos, engines steering, deck exhaust you will be looking at $45-50,000.You probably can do it with use equipment however hard to find. Bud

The exterior deck is fine, the interior decks are rotten. I am not concerned about the repairs more the set up with outboards. Anyone have any experiance with a 27 hull with twin outboards (T250hp)? Handeling, speed, etc. I like the idea of more room with outboards and the noise factor. I spent this summer listening to my buddy's 5" exhust and blower motor. My hearing is terrible already.

According to the guy I bought this from the owner before him had twin 427 big blocks cramed in. The back seat was ripped out and the hatch is gone. I guess that is how they fit. Sine I have to redo the entire inside anyway the outboards seems like the way to go

I talked to the guy (Ray Spires) and he said there is no Hull ID.............strike one............I'm supposed to get some pictures in 2-5 days.............could be an interesting thread. Its supposed to be in good shape.

He's had it for three years and bought it off a guy who boated with it at Lake Martin in Alabama. Anybody know any magnum lovers that boat around there?

You don't need to put outboards on it. I'll buy it from you.

HighLife,

Thanks for the response. I was expecting a bit more speed considering the weight reduction. Any reason you are not in the mid 70's? Do you have any pictures? Also, did you move the fuel tanks and what engine bracket did you use, how far off the transom.

Thanks,

mh3591,

everything is for sale, you know what I paid, all I have done so far is remove all the rotten stuff, left over rigging and most of the deck hardware. I'm down to the stringers and about ready to pop the deck off.

Make me an offer. Just to warn you it would have to be a good one. It's still early in the project so each time I see the boat I still get a big smile on my face

Thanks everyone,

Joe
