The Donzi looks like it was legitimate:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=320193677676

The transaction was in December and positive feedback has been left. It was also a short, no reserve auction. Maybe it's just time for this to go. Why else would he have put the Donzi up on a no reserve auction right before Christmas. If I remember correctly, the same Magnum pictures were in his OSO classified ad.

i'm just telling you guys, the seller is a freind of mine since 4th grade. i'm now 38. i put him in this boat, and i'd be surprised he sold it w/o telling me.
1. the boat pictured will not do 70.
2. bidder be ware... my bud is on vaca, and i wont be speaking to him for a week.

whoever is contacting the ebay seller, ask more for pics...

Default Running 70...no way

The Maltese we finished up last year and ran it before it went into storage was doing 75 with brand new 383'3 Bravo drives and switchable direct exhaust. No way with out major rework will in run in the 70,'s.Also Magums can only carry 95 gals, unless it has extra fuel tanks which was not indicated.Have not checked the price today however seems like some one is pushing the price up

Apparently, it is now 15,500 on OSO classifieds (2/19) from a high of 28,000 when I first spotted it some 10 or 12 months ago - The winning bid of 17,100 on e-bay ended 2/17 with
what I presumed it sold for but, I guess not.
Great looking restored boat like that with a major price drop
got me a little confused.
Stormrider, is your friend back fron vacation yet? wonder if he
knows how great a deal he's got out there.

nope, he wont be back till next week.
i dont know the ebay ad at all, and dont really care.
the boat is real nice cosmetically.
if you are the least mechanically inclined its a great buy.
All i know is if you offered 15k a few months ago the boat would be in your driveway.
