Jerri,

That site where my magnum info is posted is named ThunderBoatAlley.com and actually belongs to and is run by Sean Olsen. Sean has put together a collection of all Aronow boats he could find except Donzi. Donzi.net covers Donzi well. Like me, I'm sure that Sean would be interested in hearing about what you are doing with your Magnum site. He would be the one to talk to about the link.

Let us know when your new site is up!!!

The site is up...and has been running for a year. I just redesigned it for the 2002 season.

TeamVixenRacing.com

Thanks for the info about Thunderboatalley.com. I've linked it but if anyone objects, I'll be happy to remove it. I am working on a new page devoted to all the "classic" owned Magnums out there. If anyone has a picture and a little info, I'd be happy to include it! I think the page could be alot of fun for everyone! Your boat is first in line if you have no objections!

We're skipping the Miami SBI Race...our throttleman Mel hasn't recovered completely from the accident we had in Sarasota last season. St. Cloud was the test and he couldn't take the pounding. However...Dave is switching to throttles and Ken Kasten (previously a bat boat driver) will be taking over the rest of the season as driver. So, if anyone is planning to attend the Fort Myers Beach SBI race...look us up! We're making a few changes to improve the over all handling of the boat and are chomping at the bit to get that checkered flag!!! Classic Magnums can still go for the gold!

Take Care,

I just stumbled on this thread...thanks for the link to ThunderboatAlley, it's a shame I haven't had much time to update it recently, but I'll put a link to your team up tonight. I've been so busy with other projects, that my own has taken a back seat to everything else...

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do with Thunderboatalley?

Sean

Default Magnum revivals

I bought an empty 1970 27' sedan in 1994.
It originally had belonged to a friend of my father's, and I always liked it.
I put on a new transom and new mechanicals.
I put in 2 350 mags w/bravos. The boat does 66 on radar. The sedan is the perfect performance boat in this size. Good cabin, higher wheel for standing, big cockpit and walkaround decks. I would love more power, but I have had zero problems mechanically.
I love my Magnum!
