Dear All,
Firstly thank you to all who replied and helped me to look for a Starfire: Bud first amongst all! I finally tracked down one originally sold to this owner in 1970 (date tbv) and is now in appalling conditions (only the hull can be saved) near Naples, Italy.
I am not interested in this boat because the owner is asking a ridiculous sum for the hull alone and is not willing to even begin negotiating. Consider that Bud recently sold a complete Starfire for less than this boat's asking price!!!
Anyway, if any rich and wild collector is interested and willing to pay, contact me privately and I will direct you.
I am scheduled to visit the boat again, soon, with a fibre expert to verify the owner's claim that the hull is the famous one-off Kevlar hull.

If it does not have a deck it will be impossible to recreate. As Giovanni stated correctly,Starfires were built between 2/9/1978 & 6/1987.Also doubt it was a Kevlar hull,Magnum did not build them with that material. Would not waste my time .Bud

Single engine Magnums
Only a few, it is now happing because of better engines, drives, and props. There is no way to get that from the old build sheets.
