X-dimension Volvo to Bravo swap

Just eyeballing cig92's transom I would guess my X is 1 1/2" higher. Mine is as high as possible... I could not get on plane with 3blade props turning out. The reason I asked about what motors you have is because the center on center measurement might affect the x-dim computation. My c on c is 33 1/2"

Center to Center Dimension
Marshalls boat is at 33 1/2"
My old Volvo boat is at 29"
If you are raising your X and rebuilding your transom, change your X dimension if your Volvo boat is close to 29".
I did not spread my c to c, and this created a lot of difficulties with exhaust system upgrades, along with a large expense.

Unless of course your looking to take a gamble, however you will see from my postings the engines now come out through the engine hatch.

I will have to go double check mine at the shop, but I think it is 33" on center.
Looks like I will be doing 16.5" to 17" based on all the info, hey if I get it wrong thatrs what shorties or spacers are for ....
Thanks to all that chimed in , will post pictures of the new transom when I get it finished.

X
I had twin 500 s , converted my mds drives to bravo 1 . With the x at 16.5 " , I got up on plane with 25 3 blade mirage plus . Spun those bad boys to 5900 rpm . Getting on plane was no problem. Centerline was 33".

Well, turns out my drives were currently 30" center to center. Not exactly sure what to do here now, do I still go w 16.5 x at that spacing? We are getting close to decision time transom is filled and glassed...
