Looks like Bob was driving and running the throttles, I think his timing was off in this pic, but he still won.

Default 29-9 Magnum

There was a total of 5 29-9's made one used outboards,Leviathan,and then became Boar Hog driven by John Fernandez.My boat had two owners as described above.Piranha #65 sure looks like one of the remaining 3.Can we find out more info on it ??? Do you think it sill exists ???Bud

Mannn!.......those are beautiful boats! ....what's the reason why only 5 were built?........did magnum only custom build these upon request from buyers? ... were these cored hull with regular glass or to early for composite layup?

I would think heavy, heavy polyester glass. I posted this pic before but it shows Magnum stuff back in the day.
