Have you ever owned an italian piece of machinery or raced one ?
Those from the yesteryear smoke because deliberately they donīt put any exhaust valve guide seals in them.
And some oils consumption is good on heavy use..thatīs a sign everything is getting lubrication.

All old BMWīs smoke too. up to the 90īs..brand new even.
For them and italian upper class machinery with a sporty image an oil consumption of a pint per 1000 miles is still considered normal.
And those who know their way around them check under the hood quite often..like any powerboater or Hot rodder should too.

Now 8000 rpm sounds way hairier than the ca 5000 in this vid.

Cool!

And how much has that friendship set you back

Donīt know why but I have always been more interested about Lamborghinis and their Rawness than Ferrari.

Maybe itīs a cubic inch syndrome...

Just got back from South Beach.

I had the opportunity to follow an all black Murciealago down A1A.

Wow what a treat the sound and the looks are just incredible.

Got to get one of them one day......when I hit the Lottery!

Chris Sunkin couldnt be more right on!

I was thinking the exact same thing while watching the video, then laughed out loud when I read his response.

The only possible thing I could add to such a perfect response would be that said douchebag should go to the bank get a loan and buy a clue.

Problem is that money doesn't come with instructions & knowledge.

My guess is that if the guy did have the money to fix the oil smoke blowing past the rings and valve guides from years of treating it like a hormonal teenager in heat he would have.

Ill admit that its funny to watch other people trash fine machinery.

Sure sounds killer

First of all I guess you ainīt familiar with italian machinery at all or any other Weber Side or downdraft 1 barrel per cylinder...
Those wash always all the oil while the enigine has been lugging or idling.

Plus while it does that they (engines) also do leak oil thru their bronze valve guides while cold/ been lugging.

Like I said already on this thread...theres nothing wrong with that Lambo..the oil puffes just shows everything is getting their lubrication.

And IMO people are free to do whatever they want if their toys are 100% paid...

Now Chris might think a guy I know is a douchebag too While he RACES his GT3 Murcielago...
