You know Bob, I really don't wish hell on any man. I hope you accept Jesus Christ one day before you die.
I have heard of after death experiences of men who have died and went to hell. These are men who did not believe in Jesus Christ before they died. Their testimonies are shocking to say the least. In hell you will have many of your senses ---only all your senses will be for the negative side , hunger, thirst, smell, sight, weakness, pain and you will remember your life here on earth, the people you knew and the decisions you have made. A person will not feel anything but hopelessness and pain for eternity. A place where there is no rest for the wicked---with demons filled with relentless hate and their torturous acts on human souls. I have heard of accounts where these men could feel their flesh burning without being consumed. I could hardly believe some of the details these people gave as they told about their horrific trip to hell. These men somehow were snatched from eternity and when they came back to life they immediately wanted to know Jesus was and become saved.
I must admit, the thoughts of being in hell for eternity (and all the hopeless horrifying things that go with it) don't exactly give me that warm fuzzy feeling----and I thought 3 days of sunburn was bad!
This very brief life here on earth, even with all the riches a man could desire are not worth the 70-80 short years of life compared to hell for eternity.
Jesus spoke more about hell than anyone else in the bible. He spoke more about hell than He did about heaven. His intent is for you not to go there, but if any man goes it is because of his own choice.
You must make a conscious decision to accept Jesus Christ into your life. Being a good person and doing good things are okay, but they will not save you---you cannot save yourself. If being a good person could get you into heaven then Jesus would not have had to come and die on the cross for your sins.
