Default Latest GoPro HD Vid in the Allison

Shot a little bit of video yesterday on the way back in to the ramp with the GoPro. Motor is fresh with probably 10-15 hours on it...not too bad, had 2 of us in the boat and it ran 101.

Two in the boat, so did Mom enjoy the ride?

Cool chit! So was the camera on the side of the hull with the suction cup mount?

Nice ride! I just ordered a GoPro a couple hours ago. Can't wait to try it out in Jacksonville in a few weeks.

Very cool! Love that angle.

Something tells me those cameras are gonna be very popular with this group.

I just purchased one, too! This afternoon. Can't wait to try it out at SML Poker Run.

Actually, Mama wasn't in the boat for this ride...she met us back at the house.

Yes, suction cup mount. That's the only mount I use because it's so versatile (that and I don't want any permanent sticky mounts on the boat. )

Were you able to buy the camera local? (I'm in O-town) Or did you have to order it?

Shame on you! Leave Mama on the dock like that, did you tell her 2 sunny side up with a side of bacon and toast when we get back?

Just starting to look into this GoPro deal, is your's the GoPro Hero wide angle model like Bob the Builder has been using to post his adventures ? That little sucker stays on there at 100?

The GoPro will stay on up to 100mph under water. It was still on 200 and under? I believe if placed on your deck.

I bought it directly from GoPro at the PRI Show back in December.

Not sure which one Bob has, but mine is the new HD Version (which is also wide angle). It works great, and the suction cup mount is extremely strong. My last video I mounted it underwater on the transom...only thing is that it would help if there was a wireless remote to start and stop the recording.
