I wanted to go on down and check out PPP on Saturday, however I've never boated down this way. Anyone putting in Saturday morning in Hopewell that doesn't mind a tag along?

Not going this year but it's a well marked river, head down via the channel markers and when you see the ferry's keep going a mile or 2 and start looking off to the right.....you can't miss 200-300 boats anchored/rafted off near the shore (in the back end of a "cove").

There is a nice ramp at the mouth of the chick that would be much closer to chippokes. There will be slot of boats including myself coming put of the chick.

What ramp is that? I'm very unfamiliar with the area?

It is a James city county park right beside the route 5 bridge over the chickahominy. From 295 take 60east to 155 south to route 5east, when you cross the river campground is on the left

I've never been here, is the ramp and docks sufficient for a 38' boat?
