Saturday night was a very dark near moonless night. Talked to several people who would have normally ventured from Harmon to the St Dock for the party Saturday night say they stayed in Harmon because it was too dark to risk the ride.

I put the boat on the trailer Saturday night - started the journey right at dark. ....man, it got eerily dark once we got past the houseboat docks. I almost turned around, but remembered it was only a short distance around a left hand turn.

Yep, with no houses or private docks on the shoreline a moonless night is VERY dark and very dangerous to be out there.

Jay, thanks for the pics. I had a chance to make this run in 2007 on the first Sunny F-4 but had to bail last minute due to work. Your pics convince me I need to make another attempt to get down there for this even!
