No more guessing games only precise readings is what you'll get from this exceptional product. It has no moving parts so it's resistant to mechanical failure. It consists of a single in-tank probe and amplifier. It's easily installed in the standard float arm mounting plate.

Fuel and water level senders use capacitance type technology so the readings are accurate and unaffected by the motion of the boat. Therefore it greatly reduces needle bouncing on the gauge. The probe is placed vertically in the tank, and comes in 12 inch increments. Talk about an effortless installation, it has a simple two wire hook up! It can be calibrated to fit tanks from 4" to 120" deep. If you are using this with a smartcraft application we've got you covered with a 3 terminal unit.

All we need to know is the depth f your tank, and if its gas, diesel or gasohol. If you're the do-it-yourself type, you can cut and calibrate the sender yourself, or ask us to do it for you. This unit is available for standard and custom tank installations and only requires 12 volts, but we also offer it in a 24 volt. The product is always in stock and ready to ship when you need it.

Are these senders specific to your gauge, do you have any manufacturer stats on Velocity's gas tanks say a 2001 280?
