New Hardin Marine 525 EFI Header System
CP Performance will be unveiling for immediate release the latest new header offerings at the Los Angeles International Boat Show. The big news is from from Hardin Marine about the all new "Typhoon 525"; as you may have guessed these are the latest answer to solve the rapid deterioration of the factory installed headers on the popular Mercury 525 engine packages. If you are the proud owner of one of these fantastic engine offerings then you probably know by now the only real short coming has been the cracking, leaking, and failing exhaust.
Hardin Marine has just designed these headers to fit the Mercury Racing 525 specific unique bolt pattern style cylinder heads while featuring all of the standard features the "Typhoon's" have become so popular for:

Hardin Marine has just designed these headers to fit the Mercury Racing 525 specific unique bolt pattern style cylinder heads while featuring all of the standard features the "Typhoon's" have become so popular for:
- All 316L Stainless Steel Construction (Including the flanges).
- 2" O.D one piece inner tubes like the factory units provide similar air speeds and tuning as the OEM system. Big Tube headers do not perform on naturally aspirated 525 applications. Ask Mercury or America's leading engine builders??? Also inner tubes are one piece, there are no butt welded multi piece connections to fail.
- Multi Axis tailpipe connection allows tail pipe to be rotated for align provisions.
- One piece welded water inlet trees with drain provisions are standard.
- Aerospace V-Tex O-ring tail pipe seal (No ropes and band clamps).
- MOST IMPORTANTLY !! All Hardin Marine headers are Heat treated and Passivated for superior strength and longevity (Compare the Facts?).
- Lastly each header is pre-polished, heat treated and show polished again for a beautiful appearance

Here is the up-close view of the NASA inspired V-Tex O-ring sealing system. No more gaskets to fail, no ropes to blow out and no more clamps to mess with. The easiest and cleanest header to tailpipe connection in the industry. This is one of the many features that sets Hardin Marine apart from all other header manufactures.
