New Side Mount Billet Throttle/Shifter
Finally - A REAL billet side mount shifter. This side mount two lever control is specifically designed for easy shift and throttle operations. 3/4" thick aluminum construction not only looks tough, it also provides a very smooth arm movement. A newly designed friction brake allows for easy external throttle tension adjustment to fine tune the throttle arm to your needs. This shifter also features a trim switch in the throttle arm, a precision neutral safety switch, a kill switch with a coil teather, and a neutral shift detent. Best of all, this control will replace your early or late model stock Mercruiser single lever control. We've gone the extra mile to build this control so it accepts 33 series and Mercury cables. This control can be used in a left or right hand installation. Our custom cable mounts allow for the cables to be entered in on multiple angles. Mounting bases are available in polished, powdercoated, and anodized finishes. Shifter handles are only available in anodized finishes. Call 302-521-0123 Diamond Performance.

Looking at putting one in my yellow on white donzi 22 classic. All of my gauges are silver. Thinking the shifter should match the gauges.
How hard are these to install, can a fairly handy guy with the right tools and a few free hours do it?
Can anybody that has used one tell me if it functions well? Is it comfortable to use? Any drawbacks?
Can you point me in the direction of the best price?
Thanks,
Tom
