I just purchased 2 bottles of polish from Top Notch and hope to experience good results as I've read others rave about.
Does applying 2 coats provide additional protection or is it overkill?

There's no reason for two coats with Leverage. If you're in a harsh environment like Florida or if your baby is in the elements 24/7 then maybe a coat every six months, but no need for two.
I'm starting a new thread in the Paint/Fiberglass section on 'How I use Leverage' that way everyone dosen't have to go through 25 pages of the Boat Wax thread.
Give me a few minutes and it shall appear.
